We packed in a full week in Las Vegas for this year's ConExpo show, and it was well worth the trip. Not only was the energy great at this year's show, but we had some great time visiting with great industry friends and great customers. There is a lot to recap from this year's show, but we wanted to focus first on some exciting new product announcements unveiled at the IMT booth, which had a fantastic location at this year's show.
8600LB Crane on a Class V Truck
To us, the most significant announcement has to be that we can now offer a 22' 8600lb crane on the IMT Dom1 body. That means you can now have an 8600lb max crane on a 19500gvwr chassis and with very little increase in weight and a minimal price increase. Our 7500lb crane out-picked all of the competition anyway, so this only leaves them further behind. We have seen several larger-fleet customers moving towards smaller trucks, and we're excited that we can now offer them more crane in a smaller overall package. Improved 12000lb Crane / Dominator III Package
Another exciting announcement from the Garner crew was a redesigned and enhanced 12000lb crane on a new Dominator III body. The body and crane package has been updated to feature less total weight, increased crane capacity, and overall lowered price. For customers needing 12000lb crane, we are now confident we can offer a more competitively priced package with a crane that outperforms the competition (see specs below). New Standards & Revised Options
And while these two items are certainly biggies, the smaller details haven't been overlooked either. We now offer a revised deep rear grab handle standard on every Dominator body, and the Masterlocking option has also been reengineered to perform better and function easier. Both of these enhancements compliment what is already the best mechanics body in the industry.
