30 Years of Excellence
In 1991, the company for which David Nichols, Sr. had been a salesman went under, and with three small children at home, he had to make a decision. Knowing little about starting a business, he ventured out on his own and started NFE. Since then, the company has built a wide customer base and experienced strong growth.
Expansion
In 1997, NFE moved into a new facility specifically designed for truck-equipment installations. Our facility features an overhead crane, drive-through bays, a state-of-the-art paint booth, and Line-X bedliner application area.
A Family Business
David Sr. has now been joined by his two sons, David “Buzz,” Jr. and Nick. After graduating from Ole Miss, Buzz joined the NFE team in sales but now acts as the Shop Operations Manager, overseeing our installation process. After graduating from Sewanee: The University of the South, Nick taught high school literature for eight years before joining the NFE team in Office Operations and Marketing. In their spare time, all three are passionate outdoorsmen who love getting outside. While David and Buzz are avid turkey and duck hunters, Nick is a competitive bicycle racer with multiple Tennessee State Championships.
